{ths} originals is the official online store of artist {ths} Thomas Schostok, selling original artwork and limited edition prints. The artwork comes directly from {ths}, no middle man, gallery or business octopus.

We have a philosophy here:

• Maximum of 10 different artworks for sale
• All artworks are available only for a very short period of time. Sometimes days, sometimes only a week
• If a work of art doesn't sell, it will inevitably be destroyed and recycled at some point to make room on the planet and in {ths}’s archives
• Sometimes we offer originals at tiny, sometimes at outrageous prices, and sometimes customers can pay as much as they like
  
  Since 2000, {ths} aka Thomas Schostok works at the crossroads of art and graphic design. His studio is based in Essen, West Germany. He is a former tile salesman known for his uncompromising graphic works, full of powerful, brutal and dirty aesthetics and have been shown and appreciated internationally. {ths} is famous for his recurrent dirty images juxtaposed with controversial messages. He is an obsessive visual terrorist who keeps attacking the corrupt showbiz, the rich corporate world, the “uniformization” of our thoughts and lives. For him, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and his eyes love everything that is considered “dirty” and “ugly”.
